38-year-old James Michael Miller of Hickory-Lincolnton Highway in Newton was arrested Sunday (June 5) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with conspire to traffic opium or heroin. Miller was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $15,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (June 6).
