32-year-old Austin Sinclaire Anthony of Dillon Drive in Newton has been arrested by Hickory Police on two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer. He was also charged with resisting a public officer. Anthony was jailed yesterday (December 16) in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $4,000. He was scheduled to appear in District Court yesterday in Newton.
