The Burke County Sheriff’s Office conducted a warrant roundup with the assistance of NC DPS Probation Officers on Tuesday (July 18) resulting in the arrest of 14 individuals. These arrests consisted of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Among those arrested on felony charges was 33-year-old Bradley Lynn Mauney of Sundown Road in Morganton. He’s charged with felony counts of second-degree sex offense and parole violation. The sex offense charge is from Catawba County. He received $250,000 secured bond on the sex offense count and no bond on the parole violation charge. Mauney was being held in the Catawba County Detention Facility as of earlier today (July 21). A District Court date was scheduled today.

45-year-old Nathaniel Matthew Cox of Hoods Creek Road in Lenoir was also arrested Tuesday. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and driving while license revoked. Bond was set at $10,000 secured. Cox was not listed as an inmate in Burke County as of earlier today. A court date is September 11.

34-year-old Keith Sharod Moore of Pax Hill Road in Morganton was also arrested earlier this week. He’s charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond was set at $5,000 secured. Moore was not listed as an inmate in Burke County as of earlier today. A Superior Court date is August 21.
