Morganton Residents Charged After Reportedly Being Found With Meth In Their Possession

36-year-old Terry Leon Holland, Jr. of Morganton Heights Boulevard and 34-year-old Kellia Rebecca Jamison, who is listed as a homeless person, both from Morganton, were arrested last Thursday (March 21) by Morganton Public Safety Officers. Holland is charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) along with misdemeanor counts of possession of schedule IV controlled substance and second-degree trespassing. Jamison is charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) and second-degree trespassing.

Thursday (March 21) at approximately 11:20 p.m., Officers with the Morganton Department of Public Safety responded to Morganton Heights Shopping Center for a trespassing call. While on the scene, Officers found the two suspects, Holland and Jamison. Both individuals were taken into custody for trespassing. During a search of the suspects, they were both found to be in possession of controlled substances.

Police report the seizure of 6.6 grams of meth from Holland and and .6 grams of meth from Jamison during their investigation. Bond for Holland was set at $5,250 secured, Jamison received a bond of $5,000 secured. Neither suspect was listed as an inmate as of today (March 25). They’re both scheduled to appear in District Court April 12.
