37-year-old William Chase Pate of River Road in Morganton was arrested today (October 24) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, maintaining a place for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pate was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $73,000 bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled Wednesday (October 25).
