36-year-old Michael Leonard Norman, Jr. of Wendy Hill Hollow in Morganton was arrested Monday (December 5) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony probation violation. Norman is on probation as a result of a conviction in Burke County in July, 2021 on felony counts of breaking & entering and larceny after breaking & entering. Norman received probation and a 36 month suspended sentence following the conviction. He was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under no bond. A Superior Court date is set for February 23.
