29-year-old Ethan Kade Sams of Cedar Trail in Morganton was arrested Monday (August 28) by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with two felony counts obtaining property by false pretense and jailed under $6,000 secured bond. Sams remains in jail as of today (September 1) with a District Court date that was scheduled for August 31.
