36-year-old Calvin Clifford Acuff III of Morganton was arrested Sunday (March 6) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with six counts of employing a minor in an obscenity offense, two felony counts apiece of first, second, and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, along with single felony counts of indecent liberties with a child and soliciting a child by computer.

Acuff was released from custody under a secured bond of $450,000. He’s scheduled to appear in Superior Court April 17 on all charges.
