More Details Released Regarding Arrest Of Lenoir Man On Felony Drug Charges
20-year-old Cameron Sean Beaver of Main Street in Lenoir was arrested Tuesday (April 25) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance, and manufacturing marijuana.
In recent weeks, officers with the Lenoir Police Department have responded to incidents of overdoses involving local high school students. While investigating, police determined that the most common similarity connecting the incidents was the use of similar vape pens prior to overdosing.
As Lenoir Police Department Narcotics Investigators and Lenoir Police Department School Resource Officers began their joint investigation, they were able to develop a suspect, Cameron Sean Beaver, as the supplier of the vape pens. On Tuesday, detectives applied for a search warrant for Beaver’s residence on SW Main Street in Lenoir.
During the search of the premises, officers found 174 THC vape pens, 350.4 grams of marijuana and $17,424.00 in U.S. currency. The street value of the items seized is approximately $10,000.
