42-year-old Porshca Galligher Sherrill and 43-year-old Ashley Wayne Goble, both of the same Springs Road, Conover address, were arrested Tuesday (May 19) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. They’re each charged with trafficking in fentanyl and methamphetamine, conspire to traffic in opium or heroin, felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sherrill is additionally charged with exposing a child to a controlled substance. WHKY previously reported on the arrests, more details have been released.

On Tuesday the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, with assistance from the Sheriff’s Office Special Tactics and Response (STAR) Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Springs Road in Conover. During the investigation, officers seized approximately 106 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 24 grams of fentanyl, and seven firearms.

Both suspects were placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $2,000,000 bond apiece. Both suspects are scheduled to appear in District Court June 10. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office was assisted during the investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NC SBI), Maiden Police Department, and Hickory Police Department.
