A Lincoln County man who went missing earlier this week has been found. 77-year-old Willard Lucius Caylor went missing Monday (September 18), he was found in South Carolina and is reported to be safe.
A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective says that Mr. Caylor was found in Laurens County, South Carolina early today (September 20). Laurens County Sheriff’s deputies found Mr. Caylor’s 2015 Honda Fit in a rural area and found Mr. Caylor in nearby woods. He was transported to a hospital in Clinton, South Carolina for observation. The family has been notified that he is safe.
As WHKY previously reported, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Golf Course Drive North in Denver, NC to investigate the disappearance of Mr. Caylor, who was last seen at approximately 10:30 a.m. Monday.
