Meth Seized By Police, Suspects Jailed On Multiple Charges
25-year-old Kendell Lynn Hill, 52-year-old Sonia Lucille Richmond, and 52-year-old Richard Eric Singlestad, all of Taylorsville, were arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. All three suspects were charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Richmond was additionally charged with maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance. A fourth suspect was arrested on a failure to appear charge.
According to a news release issued Monday (January 30), last Thursday (January 26), the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of Taylorsville Police Department went to a residence on Emma Brooke Lane in Taylorsville. Officers were attempting to serve a failure to appear warrant. During the investigation, Officers reportedly found approximately 56 grams of methamphetamine in the residence along with drug paraphernalia.

The three suspects charged with the drug offenses were jailed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $150,000 secured bond apiece. All three suspects remained in jail as of earlier today under that same bond amount. They were all scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court in Taylorsville Monday.
