HUDSON, N.C. (WHKY) – Diego Mendez-Torres held off Hudson Sharp to win the 75-lap Late Model feature Saturday night at Tri-County Motor Speedway, highlighting a seven-division racing program.

Mendez-Torres took the checkered flag 0.902 seconds ahead of Sharp, with Landon Huffman finishing third, 2.623 seconds behind the winner. Cameron Bolin was fourth and Ryan Zima completed the top five. Slade Parsons finished sixth, followed by Charlie Watson and Kaeden Ballos, as the top eight cars all completed the 75-lap distance.

Nathan Quella finished ninth, one lap down, while Jeremy Mayfield also completed 74 laps and finished 10th. Daniel Wilk rounded out the 11-car field after completing five laps.

Vincent Arthur won the night’s 50-lap Limited Late Model feature, finishing 2.536 seconds ahead of Jake Freeman. Jackson Tovo finished third, with Walter Jenkins IV fourth and Coleman Chapman fifth. Konner Leicht was sixth, followed by Hannah Bell and Martin Nesbitt, with the top eight all finishing on the lead lap.

Sheflon Clay took the victory in the 50-lap Outlaws feature. Clay finished 1.084 seconds ahead of Dakota Slagle, while David Messer was third, only 1.265 seconds behind the winner. Jonah Cullen finished fourth, followed by Danny Knoll Jr. and Trey Epps.

John Reynolds captured the 35-lap Street Stock feature, beating Mike Hatton to the finish by 1.807 seconds. Terrence Tucker finished third and Kyle Jenkins was fourth. Landon St. Clair finished fifth, two laps down, with Gary Aldrich sixth.

J.R. Franks won a tightly contested 35-lap Renegades feature. Franks finished just 0.373 seconds ahead of Jordan Layne, while Joshua Gunter was another 0.336 seconds back in third. Cody DeMarmels finished fourth, Daniel Knight fifth and Shawn Thomson sixth.

Jason Garwood also prevailed in a close finish in the 25-lap Carolina Mini Stocks feature, beating Jamison Whittington by 0.255 seconds. Brian Mundy finished third, Dennis Trivette fourth and Robert Trivette fifth. Terry Torrence and Matthew Nance finished sixth and seventh, respectively, with each completing all 25 laps.

Dee McCall won the 20-lap Carolina Vintage Race Club feature, finishing 2.151 seconds ahead of Jesse Martin. Doug Howell was third, with Thomas Reid fourth and Duffie Sams fifth.
