28-year-old Sarah Brooke Weedman of Overlook Park Lane in Marion was arrested by Hickory Police today (October 5) on one felony count of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and larceny. Following her arrest, Weedman was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $5,500. A District Court date on the drug charge is coming up tomorrow in Newton with another appearance on the larceny charge scheduled for October 23.
