Man Reported Missing Found Safe

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Investigators say an Iron Station man reported missing earlier this week has been found and is reported to be safe. 36-year-old Jacob Matthew Lockman was reported missing by his father Monday (February 19).

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol was dispatched to Keever Dairy Farm Road at approximately 7:30 a.m. Sunday (February 18) to investigate a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle crashed into a bridge and when law enforcement officers arrived on the scene the occupant of the vehicle could not be located. Lockman is believed to have been the driver of the vehicle.

No details have been released regarding where Mr. Lockman was found or what caused him to go missing. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office did report that he was safe.
