34-year-old James Allen Jones was arrested Friday (January 1) by authorities in Burke County. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine). He was arrested shortly before 2 p.m. Friday and placed in jail in Morganton without bond. A Superior Court appearance was scheduled today (January 4).
