IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (WACB) – On Friday the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 74-year-old Vicente Medrano Garcia of Ashland Avenue in Stateville on Friday (September 14). He’s charged with four felony counts apiece of first-degree kidnapping and indecent liberties with a child.

According to our news partner WACB, arrest documents allege that Garcia kidnapped a female juvenile who was 16-years-old or younger and subjected her to sexual servitude. The suspect, not a legal U.S. citizen, is listed as “a close family member” of the victim. Garcia was jailed without bond in the Iredell County Detention Center.
