78-year-old Larry Gene St. Clair of Taylorsville was arrested Tuesday (August 22) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.

Deputies responded to a location on County Home Road on August 17. St. Clair allegedly fired shots during an altercation at that address. He was taken to the Alexander County Law Enforcement Center and later released under a secured bond of $7,500. The next District Court date is next Monday (August 28).
