37-year-old Elliot Patrick Cox of Triplett Drive in Lenoir was arrested Thursday (September 7) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with misdemeanor attempted breaking and entering and felony obtaining property by false pretense. Cox remains in jail as of this morning under $40,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance scheduled for Monday (September 11).
