Man Charged With Felony Drug Counts Following Search Of Residence
26-year-old Tyler Cayse Moore of Langtree Shore Drive in Mooresville was arrested last Wednesday (February 22) by Mooresville Police Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of trafficking marijuana, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep, sell, or use a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a stolen firearm. Moore is also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mooresville Police Department Detectives recently conducted a narcotics investigation after receiving complaints of illegal drug activity in the area of The Osprey at Lake Norman Apartments. Based on the information received, Detectives began the investigation and determined that one of the apartments in the complex was the source of the complaints.
After a month-long investigation, Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the apartment on Langtree Shore Drive. On February 14, Detectives executed the search warrant and reportedly recovered a large amount of illegal narcotics, firearms, and currency from inside the residence. They seized more than 21 pounds of marijuana, which included THC vape cartridges, THC resin, and THC edibles. Detectives also seized two handguns, one of which had been reported as being stolen, and $4,000 cash.

The resident of the apartment, Tyler Cayse Moore, was arrested and charged. Following the arrest, Moore was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. He is not listed as an inmate in Iredell County today (February 27). No upcoming court dates were listed.
