LENOIR, N.C. (WHKY) – A Lenoir man is facing a felony charge involving the alleged sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the Lenoir Police Department, 33-year-old Matthew Allen Clemons of Berkley Street is charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Court records state that the charge is in connection to an incident in April of this year. The suspect allegedly duplicated material containing a visual representation of a female minor engaged in sexual activity.

Clemons was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under no bond. A Wednesday (September 16) court date was scheduled.
