CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WHKY) — A 56-year-old man was jailed Monday on multiple charges following an investigation by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.

Miguel Cruces Rodriguez was charged with driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license, having an open container in a vehicle, leaving the scene of a property-damage crash, communicating threats, and resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer.

Rodriguez was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, August 11. He was initially held under a $5,000 secured bond.

The detention record also lists two additional charges as “not in system.” Details of those allegations and a court date were not available.
