A Charlotte man wanted in the state of Indiana was arrested Monday (August 21) by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in Alexander County. He was taken into custody on US 64 near Adams Pond Lane.

40-year-old Jason Dixon Lawhorn has a fugitive warrant pending in Indiana for domestic battery. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on a felony fugitive warrant from another state. He remained in jail as of earlier today under $300,000 secured bond. A court date is scheduled next Monday (August 28).
