Man Charged In Connection To Overdose Death Has Monday Court Date

A Taylorsville Man charged last week in connection to an overdose death was scheduled to make a court appearance Monday (March 11). 24-year-old Jacob Isaiah Parson was set to appear Monday in Alexander County District Court on a charge of felony death by distribution.

Parson was already in custody on multiple probation violation charges when the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office charged him with the count of death by distribution last Thursday (March 7). The charge dates back to April, 2023 when 20-year-old Jezlyn Faith Parson was found deceased.
