40-year-old Ricky Delorenzo Taylor was arrested today (May 12) by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony common law robbery along with misdemeanor counts of assault by pointing a gun, assault on a female, shoplifting with concealment of goods, interfering with emergency communication, and hit and run with property damage.

Taylor was arrested shortly before 4:30 a.m. today at a location on Wilkesboro Highway in Statesville. He was incarcerated in the Iredell County Detention Center under $12,500 secured bond. A District Court date is scheduled for May 17.
