NEWTON, N.C. (WHKY) — Hickory Police arrested a man on a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia. Lewis Jerome Mack, 49, was booked into the Catawba County Detention Facility Sunday, September 27.

Mack is scheduled to appear in Newton District Court September 28 on the paraphernalia charge. Court appearances in separate cases are scheduled for October 12.
