32-year-old Blake Thomas Norman of Mount Olive Church Road in Morganton was arrested Tuesday (January 31) by Morganton Public Safety Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of possession of burglary tools and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday a Public Safety Officer responded to Carbon City Road in reference to a stolen vehicle being located by the owner. The vehicle is a 1991 Toyota pickup truck. An officer stopped the vehicle in a driveway at an address on Carbon City Road. Norman was taken into custody at that location and was brought to the Burke County Jail.

Norman was incarcerated under $10,000 secured bond, he remained in jail under that same bond amount as of earlier today (February 1). A District Court appearance is scheduled Thursday (February 2) in Morganton.
