40-year-old Dallas Junior Benfield was arrested today (February 5) by authorities in Burke County. He’s charged with felony possession of a weapon by a felon. Benfield was arrested at approximately 11:30 a.m. today and placed in jail in Morganton under $10,000 secured bond. A Superior Court appearance is scheduled for March 8.
