29-year-old Austin Scott Foster of Roanoke, Virginia, was arrested last Friday (June 23) by Taylorsville Police Officers. He’s charged on a felony fugitive warrant from another state. He’s charged in Roanoke County, Virginia with use of electronic means for child pornography.

Taylorsville Police Officers arrested Foster at the Alexander Central Auditorium on the campus of Alexander Central High School. A youth dance event was underway at the facility.

Alexander County Schools issued the following statement Friday “A man was arrested this morning at the auditorium who was with the dance company performing there. He was wanted for warrants in Virginia. Officers took him from the “green” room and out the back without incident. He was not associated with the school system.”

Foster was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $50,000 following the arrest. He was released after posting bond on Saturday. An Alexander County District Court appearance is scheduled for July 10.
