34-year-old Brittany Faye Newell of Pine Tree Drive in Maiden was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with failure to appear on counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Newell was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (August 22) under $4,000 bond. A Superior Court date is set for September 6.
