31-year-old Joseph Daniel Verbos of Abernathy Williams Road in Maiden was arrested Monday (August 21) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with two counts of felony probation violation out of county.

Verbos is on probation as a result of convictions on March 15, 2023 in Lincoln County on felony counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and breaking & entering. Verbos received probation and a 30 month suspended sentence.

Following Monday’s arrest, Verbos was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $10,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled Monday.
