MAIDEN, N.C. (WHKY) – A 27-year-old Maiden man was arrested Friday (July 31) by the Maiden Police Department on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

According to arrest records, Dylan Nathaniel Austin, of Gilly Road in Maiden, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods or property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia charges are scheduled to be heard in Newton District Court, while the larceny-related charges are set for Caldwell County District Court. Austin was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. His first listed court appearance is August 3.
