22-year-old Robert Joshua Miller, Jr. of North Fourth Avenue in Maiden was arrested by Maiden Police today (July 12). He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Department of Probation & Parole also charged Miller with a parole violation.

Following his arrest, Miller was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $1,500. He was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court today in Newton.
