58-year-old Howard McDaris of 26th Street SW in Hickory was arrested Monday (April 17) by Long View Police Officers. He’s charged with felony attempted breaking & entering to a building and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. McDaris was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $4,000 bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (April 20). A District Court appearance is scheduled for May 9.
