A 43-year-old Lincolnton man was arrested by the Conover Police Department on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

According to arrest records, Brandon Joseph Scott, who is listed as residing at an address on Grandview Lane in Lincolnton, was charged with two counts of identity theft, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, obtaining property by false pretense, possession of stolen goods or property, possession of methamphetamine, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Scott (pictured) was scheduled to appear in Lincoln County District Court and Newton District Court to answer the charges. No additional details regarding the investigation have been released.
