26-year-old Brandon Michael Nichols of Crest View Drive in Lincolnton was arrested Saturday (May 28) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance. In addition, Nichols is charged with two counts of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor larceny, and failure to appear on a count of misdemeanor larceny. Nichols was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $9,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (May 31).
