35-year-old Albert William Smith of Maiden Highway in Lincolnton was arrested Monday (January 30) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with two felony counts of obtaining property by false pretense and jailed under a $5,000 secured bond. Smith remains in jail as of this morning with a District Court appearance scheduled for February 1 in Lincoln County.
