Lincoln County Vehicle Stop Leads to Multiple Felony Drug Charges
41-year-old Lisa Clinton Gaither of Macedonia Church Road in Vale has been arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Officers on charges of trafficking methamphetamine by possession and by transport, possession with intent to sell & deliver fentanyl, possession with intent to sell & deliver a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of failure to appear.
At about 11:20 last night (July 31), Deputies noticed a vehicular violation involving a car traveling on David’s Chapel Church Road. A traffic stop was conducted. Officers found probable cause to search the vehicle and the driver. The search led to the discovery of approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. All the narcotics were individually packaged for sale.
Gaither was taken into custody and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $103,000 secured bond. She was also placed under a no bond hold for Catawba County. No court dates are currently listed.
