42-year-old Joseph Eugene Jones of Victory Grove Church Road in Lincolnton was arrested today (April 17) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with two counts of flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, along with single counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance on prison or jail premises, reckless driving with wanton disregard, no motorcycle endorsement, speeding, and a registration plate violation.

Jones was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $10,500 bond. District Court appearances are scheduled for Tuesday (April 18), Wednesday (April 19), and July 19.
