Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating man who has been missing since November 8 of this year. The missing man is 29-year-old David Allen Buchanan.

On November 10, a friend of Mr. Buchanan filed a missing persons report stating that Buchanan left the friend’s home on the 7,300 block of South Little Egypt Road in Stanley at about 10 p.m. Mr. Buchanan has not been seen or heard from since.

Detectives and other Officers have checked a number of locations — including hospitals, detention centers, Buchanan’s home on Nellie Circle in Stanley, and local stores in the area — without locating him. Detectives have also been unable to locate any relatives who would have had recent contact with him. The missing man’s cell phone appears to be cut off or without service.
