Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested 2 suspects following an investigation into a business larceny at LKN Liquidations on North NC 16 Business Highway.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the theft happened around 6:30 a.m. on May 17th when surveillance cameras captured 2 individuals stealing merchandise displayed outside the business.

Investigators say the stolen items included 4 Frigidaire wine coolers, 10 Harbor Breeze ceiling fans, and 14 breast pumps. The total value of the stolen merchandise was estimated at approximately $2,772.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage from LKN Liquidations and a neighboring business and observed a man and woman arriving in a red Chevrolet Traverse before loading the stolen items into the vehicle and leaving the area.

Using surveillance review and FLOCK camera system analysis, detectives identified the vehicle and connected it to 32-year-old Jocelyn Santiago. Further investigation later identified 39-year-old Danny Beck as the second suspect.

Authorities say detectives located Santiago at the Lincoln County Courthouse on May 18th. During an interview, investigators say Santiago admitted to taking items from the business parking lot.

Santiago was charged with felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, and felony conspiracy. She was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center without bond.

Beck was also charged with felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, and felony conspiracy. He was jailed under a $45,000 secured bond.

Following the arrests, detectives executed multiple search warrants at a residence connected to the investigation and recovered the stolen Frigidaire wine coolers, 4 Harbor Breeze ceiling fans, and several breast pumps.
