Lenoir Woman Jailed On Charge Of Fleeing From Police, Indicted On Firearm Count

34-year-old Mavis Lynn Seeds of Hopedale Drive in Lenoir was arrested Saturday (May 28) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with felony counts of speeding to elude arrest and failure to appear on a felony. In addition, Seeds is charged with two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear and one misdemeanor count of larceny. She’s also charged on a bill of indictment with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Seeds was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $37,500 secured bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (May 31) and a Superior Court date is set for June 6.
