28-year-old Kayla Marie Russell of Greasy Creek Road in Lenoir was arrested last Friday (June 17) by Granite Falls Police Officers. She’s charged with felony counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and speeding to elude arrest along with a misdemeanor count of assault and battery. Russell was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (June 22). No upcoming court dates were listed.
