27-year-old Catherine Elizabeth Allman of Chapel Circle SW in Lenoir was arrested Monday (December 4) by Morganton Public Safety Officers. She’s charged felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of schedule II controlled substance along with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
A Public Safety Officer responded to Morganton Heights Boulevard shortly after 8 p.m. Monday after the agency was contacted regarding possible suspicious activity involving drugs. During the investigation, the officer seized .8 grams of methamphetamine and .8 grams of fentanyl. A digital scale was also seized and Allman was taken into custody by the officer.
Allman was brought to the Burke County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond. She was not listed as an inmate as of earlier today (December 8). A first appearance in court was scheduled this past Tuesday. Allman’s next District Court date is set for December 15 in Morganton.
