Lenoir-Rhyne’s Robb in T28 at NCAA Women’s Golf South Regionals

Competing as an individual at the NCAA Division II South Regional, senior Megan Robb fired a first round 76 to put her in a tie for 28th place.

The regional is hosted at the Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, Fla. which is a 5,887 yard par 71 course. Robb teed off at 9:50 a.m. on the 10th hole and struggled with an eight on the par four but settled in after the shaky start to sink a birdie on the 11th hole. Robb would par holes 12-16 before carding another birdie on 17. Robb finished the first nine holes +2 but then went +3 on holes 1-9 to finish the day +5.

The tournament continues tomorrow morning with 18 more holes to play. Robb sits in fourth place out of the six individuals competing in the regional.
