Lenoir-Rhyne’s Pensabene Named SAC Men’s Lacrosse Specialist Player of the Week

The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during week twelve of the 2024 season. Lenoir-Rhyne’s Rob Pensabene was named the Specialist of the Week.

Pensabene, a senior from Mount Laurel, N.J., recorded a .786 save percentage in a 20-5 victory over Catawba. He tallied his eighth double-digit save performance of the season with his 11 stops and allowed just three goals as the Bears secured the No. 2 seed and a bye in the SAC Tournament. This is the third Specialist of the Week award for Pensabene this season.

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Lacrosse Team has earned the No. 2 seed in this week’s South Atlantic Conference tournament. The Bears are scheduled to host No. 3 seeded Wingate on Wednesday, April 24 at 5 p.m. at Moretz Stadium.
