Lenoir-Rhyne’s Leonhardt Earns Second All-American Honors of the Season

After earning Second Team National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American honors, Kylee Leonhardt has been announced as an Honorable Mention All-American by Division 2 Conference  Commissioners Association.

The program’s leader in career home runs, RBIs and slugging percentage, Leonhardt helped LR to a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament during her final year with the Bears. Leonhardt would tally a team-high 15 HR and 47 RBI during the season and finished wth a .753 slugging percentage. For her career, Leonhardt owns 56 career homers and 191 RBI to go with a .369 batting average and .735 slugging percentage.

The Bears have had seven players be named All-Americans in program history and Leonhardt is the first to be named All-American twice.
