Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Soccer Garners Five All-Conference Nods

Five Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Soccer players have been named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference teams announced by the league Tuesday morning. Ria Acton leads the charge for LR as the lone First-team All-Conference selection while Allie Zueger and Grayson Cameron earned Second team honors. Stephanie Figueiredo and Neve Duston earned Honorable Mentions.

Acton, a sophomore from Leicester, England, earns her first All-Conference honors in her career. She is leading the Bears with six goals (four game winning goals) this season and is tied for first in the SAC in goals.

Zueger, a senior from Aberdeen, S.D., leads LR in assists with five this season and is second in the SAC. This is the first All-Conference selection for Zueger.

Cameron, a junior from Hickory, N.C., has made an immediate impact in her first year with the Bears. In eight starts, Cameron boasts a 6-1-1 record with 40 saves, an 0.85 goals against average, and an .851 save percentage. This is Cameron’s first All-Conference honors.

Figueiredo, a redshirt-junior from Wilmington, Mass., came back from injury to lead the Bears offensively and she sits second on the team in points with nine on three goals and three assists.

Duston, a sophomore from Palm City, Fla., earns her second straight All-Conference nod and has started eight games for the Bears this season.
