The Lenoir-Rhyne softball team is currently ranked 20th in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association top 25 poll. In addition, the Bears are also ranked as one of the top 10 teams in the NCAA Southeast Region softball poll. The South Atlantic Conference had six schools ranked in the NCAA Southeast Region. The others teams from the conference are Carson-Newman, Catawba, Lincoln Memorial, Newberry, and Wingate were all named to the list.

The NCAA Southeast Region softball rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Softball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
