After its incredible start to the indoor track season, the Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Track and Field Team has cracked into the latest edition of the USTFCCCA Top 25 Poll with its No. 23 ranking being announced on Tuesday.

After starting the season with a No. 36 ranking, the Bears have been on a rise especially with the success of the men’s 4×400-meter squad that continues to post incredible times every weekend. In the South Carolina Invitational, the squad ran a 3:11.19, which is the best time out of any Division II school this season.

The only other school from the South Atlantic Conference to place in the Top 25 is Wingate, who sits No. 20 in the ranking.

This ranking comes days before the men’s and women’s team will travel to Virginia Beach, Va. for the NCAA DII Pre-Nationals event that begins Friday and runs through Saturday.
